Post Secondary Education Co-ordinator - Terrie Davidson

Every year we give current graduating students priority for post-secondary funding. Those who are not currently graduating are still encouraged to apply so they can be placed on our waiting list for when more funding becomes available.
Post Secondary Education
When applying for post-secondary funding you must have the following:

-
Two pieces of I.D (one must be your Status Card)
-
Letter of acceptance from Education Institution
-
Name of field that you will be entering into and your course outline
-
Ask the Educational Institution to provide you with the Third Party Agreement contract (this will be signed by the Band and sent to the Education institution, this ensures your tuition and books are paid)
-
You are required to provide your grades at the end of each semester, as the grades are submitted to Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC)
-
All communication is to be done through email, this way it can be captured within your file
-
Inform the Band of any changes to course load and withdraws from programs immediately

** We do not do direct deposit for living allowance, once you are approved for funding you must provide us with your mailing address. Living allowance cheques are mailed out during the last week of every month.
